--> Montreal got spanked 5-1...oh my! Maybe teach me a lesson for playing against the red-hot Stars. Canucks made a comeback after being down 2-1 and won it in overtime 3-2 Bertuzzi getting the tally and the GWG. What a goal it was!
Wedseday plays (quite a few dogs)
Atlanta Thrashers ML +250
--> Quite a steep price for the Thrashers as they are on a slight roll lookin to make it 3 in a row. Lord Byron makes his way back to Boston, and as Dafoe slowly regains his form the team infront of him has been playing exceptionally well ( ~ due to confidence with Dafoe between the pipes). St Louis just lost at home 4-0 last game, and should have a better effort today. Maybe I should play the goal spread (in case of a tie) but i'll take my chances on the Thrashers here! Dafoe either seals the deal, or the Bruins win in a close one.

NY Rangers ML +165
--> Can't pass on this offer here. The Rangers have also won 2 in a row and looking to make it 3 with the scoring touch of Pavel Bure. The NYR are 3-1-1 in their last five games while the Flyers have struggled only winning twice in their last ten games. Dan Blackburn has played descent hockey between the pipes for the Rangers and if anything he might pull an upset in Philly against the inconsistent offense of the Flyers. Philly has only scored 4 goals in their last 5 games (3 out of the 5 games they have been shut out). Maybe LeClair was the main reason they accumulated all their goals?!? Anyways, the Rangers are too much value to pass up here. If Bure and Lindros starts scoring and the flood gates open, its over!

Ottawa Senators ML +130
--> Ottawa have only lost once in their last 11 games. This team is just too hot to avoid. Just like my Canucks, I can't pass on such good value on a very good team. Lalime should be in net since he only faced 1 shot in the third period and wasn't busy at all. THe Hawks won 1-0 last night against the Sens, and I expect the Sens to at least pop a few by the Blues' netminder (Brathwaite). The Blues have only 2 wins in their last 6 games. Special Teams will likely be the difference in this game, and I'll have to capitalize on the Senators' 2nd best Powerplay in the league against the Blues PK ranked 24th in the league.

Calgary Flames ML +110
--> Minny is struggling and are winless in their last 4 games. The Flames fired their coach - Greg Gilbert and got a huge win in Colorado. Returning from a 5 gm road trip - I expect the Flames to win this game at home and slowly build from their win at the Pepsi Center. Its about time Iginila score?
